Bridge BIM/CAD Designer II

About the role

We are looking for a Bridge BIM/CAD Designer to join our Bridge/Structures team. You will be responsible for developing bridge plans and 3D models, preparing and updating structural drawings, collaborating with engineers and project teams, and assisting in mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop bridge plans and 3D models using OpenBridge Modeler and Bentley Connect software
• Prepare, update, and revise structural drawings, including bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures
• Support projects from conceptual design through final documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Assist in mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year technical certificate or experience directly related to the job responsibilities described above
• Proficiency using current version of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with project team members
• Flexible working style and willingness to modify personal schedules to meet deadlines and client needs
• Experience with 3D modeling

Required Qualifications

• Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
• Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
