Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone and in person.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, adapting styles to suit customers.
- Manage customer flow using systems like Appointments/Customers/Point of Sale.
- Use iPad tools to research and enthusiastically share information with customers.
- Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once, contributing to the store's 5-Star Customer Service.
- Proactively address customer concerns with confidence, escalating when necessary.
- Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles, favorites, and fitting rooms.
- Welcome customers, ask questions, and listen to understand their needs.
- Strive to identify the perfect gown/dress in the first three try-ons.
- Set and follow up on future appointments to align with customer needs.
- Communicate the importance of alterations and promote personalization options.
- Partner with Alterations Specialists to set up appointments and ensure proper measurements.
- Achieve a 80% conversion rate of brides to Alterations appointments.
- Maintain store standards, including a clean and organized environment.
- Report any broken or damaged equipment to store management.
- Maintain high dress code standards.
- Offer David’s Bridal loyalty and partners program to support one-stop shopping for all life events.
- Analyze and make decisions promptly, responding to customer questions and providing product/service information.
- Support cash wrap behaviors and processes with accuracy.
- Utilize the 5-Step Selling Process to achieve hourly sales productivity standards.
- Build relationships to meet or exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Execute new processes, behaviors, contests, and programs as assigned.
- Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management, including promotion setup, merchandising, markdowns, and inventory counts.
- Gain commitment from customers by becoming a trusted advisor through training and product knowledge.
- Strive to become a Circle of Excellence member by exceeding sales targets.
- Develop self and others by focusing on own development, celebrating successes, sharing expertise, and capitalizing on feedback.
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, reach for tools and objects, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and use peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Lift to 25 pounds occasionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel, service, or specialty store environments.
- Prior experience with computerized POS systems is preferred.

The standard base pay range for this role is posted at a minimum and maximum rate. The starting rate of pay offered will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, training, and/or experience, and internal equity.
