Brewery Representative

The role will oversee accounts in Schaumburg, Rosemont, Arlington Heights, Palatine and the northern Illinois Lake Area. The ideal candidate must live in North Chicago area, preferably Arlington Heights, Palatine, Schaumburg or Rosemont/Des Plaines.

What You'll Brew

• Sell our entire Boston Beer Company (BBC) product portfolio
• Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores/convenient stores)
• Identify major accounts that are not currently selling BBC products, and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
• Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase visibility of the brand
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
• Conduct waitstaff / bartender educations, beer tastings and evening promotions

What Ingredients You’ll Bring

• Minimum Qualifications: 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry
• An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
• Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
• Able to lift and move cases of beer frequently
• Able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently

Pay

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $48,000 and $72,500. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
