Brewery Representative

The ideal candidate must live south of Atlanta*. This position is field-based and requires autonomy to focus on developing new accounts and maintaining current accounts within the industry. Key responsibilities include:

• Sell our entire Boston Beer Company (BBC) product portfolio
• Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores/convenient stores)
• Identify major accounts not currently selling BBC products and develop plans to establish business with such accounts
• Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase visibility of the brand
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
• Conduct waitstaff/bartender education, beer tastings, and evening promotions
• Work conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer-facing nature of the role
• Periodically required to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business
• Occasionally travel for meetings and trainings
• Regularly travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers

What You'll Bring

• Minimum Qualifications: 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry, an intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality, valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously, ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently, ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
