Responsibilities
- Complete pre-shift brew set-up process and ensure machines are ready for operation.
- Immediately report machine or product deficiencies to appropriate personnel.
- Perform brew rinse procedures and properly reassemble piping as required.
- Manage bottle cut procedures and communicate with assigned areas of production.
- Ensure beverages are brewed with strict adherence to scheduled run times.
- Disassemble and assemble piping to route brewed tea to the correct storage tank.
- Routinely monitor temperature and pressure gauges.
- Brew beverages that meet all ingredient specifications, quality standards, and health requirements.
- Perform CIP procedures for all tanks and piping post production run.
- Ensure finished products are routed to the appropriate filling tanks.
- Maintain current HAACP charts and required brew paperwork.
- Work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming, including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- Invest in and exemplify Milo’s Responsibility commitment, which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.
- Fulfill responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and basic mathematical functions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear.
- Must stand, walk, stoop, or kneel for extended periods.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and wet and/or humid conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme cold.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Must be able to stay at work station for five continuous hours.
