About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Educate students on effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance educational outcomes.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and new educational technologies.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
• Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention covering appropriate grades and Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement require 25 hours of approved Science of Reading training starting the 25-26 school year. Upload proof of meeting this requirement as an attachment to your application.

Work Schedule: School Year
Work Hours: Elementary Schools: 7:45am-3:45pm;
Middle and High Schools: 7:10am-3:10pm.
Half days M-F at each school Brentwood & Northcrest.
