Breezeway/Yard Associate - Part Time

About the role

Responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point-of-sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
• Load feed and merchandise into customers' vehicles.
• Operate a forklift.
• Dispense propane.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with all associates.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiarity with operating a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
