Breezeway/Yard Associate - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find the location of products.
• Load feed and merchandise into customers' vehicles.
• Operate a forklift.
• Dispense propane.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with all associates.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing full trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiarity with operating a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
