About the role
Breeze Airways is seeking Part Time Flight Attendants to join our VRB Crew Base. The role involves delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining a safe work environment, and embodying Breeze's core values.
Responsibilities

- Communicate clearly when providing instruction, including emergency and evacuation procedures
- Administer first-aid and medical care, if required, in the event of an emergency
- Conduct security screenings if needed
- Complete Autism Awareness Training
Requirements
- Able to perform the physical demands and working conditions of the Flight Attendant role as outlined throughout the position expectations
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions for any employer (such as U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
- Must be able to travel to/from the United States without restriction or interruption now or in the future
- Must currently possess a Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration
- Height: Minimum - must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance
Maximum – must be able to have adequate head clearance in the cabin - Sufficient vision and hearing to safely and effectively carry out duties
- Able to sit and buckle into a Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt on assigned aircraft
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Able to read announcements clearly and competently, give emergency commands and communicate in the English Language
- Able to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able to adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations
- Able to perform all safety-related procedures
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background checks
- Must be willing to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed due to operational reasons
- Able to work “Reserve Assignments”
- Able to follow Breeze Airways Tattoo and Piercing policy
Qualifications
- Able to perform assigned duties, including but not limited to:
- Bending
- Kneeling
- Standing
- Walking
- Moving through aircraft aisles for extended periods (including during turbulence)
- Lifting luggage
- Pushing / Pulling catering carts
- Opening and closing overhead storage compartments
- Operating door and window exits in the armed and unarmed modes
- Working in confined spaces
- Able to open/close overhead storage compartments with a maximum push/pull force of approximately fifty (50) pounds
- Able to operate aircraft doors and emergency exits requiring push/pull force of (90) pounds or more
- Able to push/pull beverage and food carts on wheels up and down inclines with maximum force of approximately sixty (60) pounds
- Able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Able to assist disabled passengers into and out of the Inflight wheelchair, then transporting them as needed
- Able to work in a pressurized cabin environment with changes in altitude and air pressure
