Breast Surgery / Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Position Highlights
Join a comprehensive breast program with dedicated breast radiology, genetics, pathology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and reconstructive surgery services.
Work alongside an established team of 4 Breast Surgeons, Breast Surgery Fellow and Surgical Oncologist in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
This position is a blend of 75% Breast Surgery and 25% Surgical Oncology (Melanoma) care.
100% outpatient practice, Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage.
Perform office-based procedures including post-operative evaluations, drain management, and other minor procedural care at the Baystate Breast and Wellness Center and designated satellite offices.
The APP will manage independent follow-up clinics, survivorship visits, treatment-related symptom management, and procedural care while collaborating closely with surgeons and oncology specialists.

Qualifications
Board Certified Physician Assistant, Family Nurse Practitioner or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Pay & Benefits
- Compensation: $134,415 - $170,260 plus comprehensive benefits and retirement contributions.
- Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range.
- Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.
- No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
- Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees.
