About the role
The Don Lau Family Center for Cancer Care at AdventHealth Tampa is an established center of excellence and has been nationally recognized for its world-class team of compassionate providers, advanced treatments and technologies, and comprehensive approach to care. The Kay Meyer Breast Care Center at AdventHealth Tampa is dedicated exclusively to breast care, providing a high level of expertise and a wide range of support services.
Responsibilities
- Join an established and growing breast surgery practice in the West Florida Division of AdventHealth Medical Group.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team that includes surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with breast cancer and other related conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the breast surgery program in the region.
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in general surgery or a related field.
- Fellowship trained in breast surgery.
- Current US work visa.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Skills
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive care.
- Experience with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
- Knowledge of current best practices in breast cancer treatment and management.
