Position Summary: The Division of Breast Surgery in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking to recruit a faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. This is an outstanding opportunity for a fellowship-trained academic breast surgeon with strong clinical and academic aspirations in breast oncology, particularly an individual with expertise and interest in developing a comprehensive oncoplastic breast surgery program and a robotic mastectomy program. There are broad opportunities to develop independent programs in basic, translational, and/or clinical research. The Division of Breast Surgery has an outstanding track record of interdisciplinary clinical care, coupled with highly productive clinical and basic research efforts. Roswell Park offers tremendous resources in the form of collaborative faculty, state-of-the-art core facilities, laboratory space, start-up support, strong mentorship, and protected research time to foster academic success. The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and will be recommended for a faculty appointment in the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
