Breast Radiologist
Athens Radiology Associates is a private hospital-based group of 31 sub-specialty trained radiologists, seeking a board certified/board eligible fellowship-trained breast imager to join our friendly, collaborative team in Athens, Georgia.
About the role
We provide the full range of breast imaging services to three breast imaging centers in the area, identified as ACR Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence. You will be joining a collegial group of five established breast imagers and will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists.
Two-year partnership track with some general evening/weekend call responsibilities, supported by subspecialty-trained neuroradiologists and full IR coverage.
Responsibilities
- Screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis)
- Breast ultrasound and MRI
- Ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies
- Ultrasound and mammogram-guided localization techniques
Requirements
- Fellowship training in breast imaging
- Board certified or board eligible
- Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis), ultrasound, and MRI
- Skilled in ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies as well as ultrasound and mammogram-guided localization techniques
