Breakfast Cook - Limelight Ketchum

About the role

As a Breakfast Cook at Limelight Hotels by Aspen One, you will help with station assignments, maintain your workspace, and prepare hot and cold breakfast foods according to Food & Beverage department specifications. This position reports to the Hotel Manager and plays a key role in delivering an elevated guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook breakfast foods including eggs and breakfast meats
• Set up station and mise en place to Chefs specifications
• May be involved in sauté, grill, and roasting stations
• Help organize kitchen items including dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies, and food deliveries
• Set up, work, and breakdown station
• Maintain station cleanliness throughout shift
• Submit production needs for the following day by shift end
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of food preparation experience preferred
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Skills

• Understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Ability to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills to ensure timely preparation and service
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy morning hours, while maintaining attention to detail and quality

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, or be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in wet, hot, and humid conditions for extended periods
• May be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
