Breakfast Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Hyatt Place Columbia/Downtown/The Vista. This position involves setting a positive tone for the day and ensuring guests have a memorable start.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present breakfast items according to standardized recipes.
• Greet guests with a friendly, service-oriented attitude and assist with breakfast needs.
• Keep service and storage areas stocked, organized, and clean.
• Sanitize eating and prep areas regularly to maintain safety standards.
• Follow the “Clean As You Go” policy to ensure a tidy and professional environment.
• Absorb and distribute food as needed.
• Clean up breakfast service areas at the end of each shift.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality or food service is a plus.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• An unexpired Food Handlers Certification is required.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and ability to interact with guests.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
