BREAD: Mixer Operator/1st Shift 6AM-6PM

About the role

Flores Foods, Inc. is a leading producer of packaged bakery goods. As a production operator IV, you will play a crucial role in the team-oriented production process, operating automated equipment, diagnosing and preventing machinery issues, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times while on duty
• Operate facility metal detectors (fully trained and certified)
• Comply with work rules, safety rules, and GMPs
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as directed by management
• Train and operate multiple types of production equipment
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all sanitation requirements
• Complete required documentation and system entries accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair, etc.)
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training
• A technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

Pay

The salary range for this position is $27.85 per hour.
