Brand Social Media Intern
About the role
The Corporate Social Media Intern is a role for a rising Junior or Senior in College excited about the opportunity to work with the Auberge Collection social media team. Reporting into Auberge’s Senior Social Media Manager, the Brand Social Media Intern will work closely with the team and will be responsible for supporting all brand social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Social Media Manager in daily tasks such as editing Reels and TikTok content and scheduling posts.
- Aid in writing captions for content, focusing on Pinterest and TikTok.
- Aid in Pinterest content planning.
- Assist with community management across all social channels, including responding to and engaging with the AU social community.
- Support with monthly reporting needs, pulling metrics and insights from social media tools.
- Stay up to date with channel-specific trends and technical updates across all social platforms, especially Pinterest and TikTok.
- Conduct monthly competitive analysis within hospitality and luxury lifestyle markets and beyond.
- Maintain the organization of the ARC content library in Dropbox.
Requirements
- Previous social media internship experience required.
- Proficient knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Hightly organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines.
- A passion for social media and luxury lifestyle.
- The ability to proactively identify social media opportunities to achieve existing and future social media goals and objectives.
- Proficient with programs such as CapCut, Edits, Google Suite, Facebook Manager, Photoshop, Canva, Dropbox, and Excel.
- Excitement to support a luxury brand's Social Media strategy.
- Preferred availability at least 3x days per week (15-20 hours per week), at least 4-6 months.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience with video editing software.
Benefits
This role will pay $17/hour.
