Brand Relations Manager - East
About the role
The Brand Relations Manager-East is responsible for driving revenue growth, owning the channel P&L, and building loyal client relationships to achieve the overall business objectives of the Timepiece Division. This role manages a multi-state territory across the East Coast, ensuring strong retail execution, distribution expansion, achieving monthly KPIs, and long-term accelerated performance development.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 360 strategic plan and execution that translates market intelligence trends into sell-out performance
- Define the GTM across each product category and consumer segments to ensure the right product is within the right market at the right time
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sell-in and must drive monthly sell-through across the customer base
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities while expanding distribution channels and lead negotiations with retail partners (terms, space, allocation, P&L)
- Maintain strong relationships with retail buyers and key accounts through consistent engagement
- Profoundly proficient in selling in person and via a B2B site with proper reporting
- Retail Management & Execution
- Lead Omnichannel evolution and brand consistency with assortment planning and proper MDF allocation that translates to maximum brand ROI
- Conduct regular visits to customer locations to review performance and ensure compliance with brand guidelines
- Assess merchandising quality and optimize in-store execution across accounts
- Achieve the best positioning in each location and ensure the brand is always top of mind
- Build a value-based brand that is authentic and serves in the best interest of the retail partner and their clients
- Create a 1–3-year revenue growth plan for each retailer with measurable KPIs and build a solid VIC CRM for the region
- Market & Performance Analysis
- Analyze regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to guide sales and product strategies
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance insights to leadership
- Ensure appropriate inventory allocation with a full year planning and proper replenishment process communicated to the retailer and planning team
- Brand & Marketing Support
- Partner with retailers to execute events, product launches, and promotional activities
- Work closely with the PR team to leverage brand-supported initiatives within the market
- Represent the brand at trade shows, dealer events, and industry functions
- Support broader marketing initiatives through field execution and local engagement
- Build an engaged brand on all the social media channels that the retail partner owns
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to optimize regional performance
- Support internal sales programs and provide field feedback to improve overall effectiveness
- Territory & Operational Management
- Manage a multi-state territory with frequent travel (70%)
- Maintain budgets for travel, entertainment, and related expenses within company guidelines
- Complete all required reporting, expense submissions, and administrative tasks accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- 3–5+ years of proven luxury sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
- Familiarity of luxury distribution with a “can do” attitude and collaborative mindset that thrives in a high-performing team
- Strong ability to build customer relationships and grow multi-channel retail business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills, and an eye for detail
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting sales data and competitor trends
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a regional territory independently
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and AI tools
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the East Coast
Location
This role is hybrid and requires a minimum of 3 days on-site in our Jersey City, NJ office.
