TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an emergency medicine physician at Valencia County Hospital, a brand new facility serving the growing communities of Valencia County and Los Lunas, New Mexico. If you are a dedicated and compassionate EM physician, you will make a great addition to our founding emergency department team. This is a unique opportunity to help build a culture of clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and teamwork from the ground up while practicing in one of New Mexico's fastest-growing communities. Estimated at 13,668 annual visits. Full-service, 12-bed ED with trauma, seclusion and OB bed. 24/7 emergency department, inpatient care, surgical services, MRI, CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and other advanced imaging services. Located in central New Mexico, just south of Albuquerque, Los Lunas is a charming town surrounded by scenic beauty with convenient access to larger city amenities. Recent and continuing growth has brought new businesses, local shopping and dining, and entertainment options to the area. Los Lunas offers a great place to live and work for those who value an active outdoor lifestyle and welcoming community.

Responsibilities

• Help build a culture of clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and teamwork from the ground up.
• Use your clinical skills to be part of setting the standard for high-quality patient care in a brand new emergency department.

Requirements

• EM boarded; internal medicine and family medicine boarded physicians with experience are also accepted.
