Responsibilities

  • Work hard to achieve and deliver the Sales & Gross Profit targets that are set by the Company from time to time.
  • Adhere to marketing budgets and any other work disciplines as will be advised by the Company.
  • Accurately calculate Customs and Tariff charges, prepare product-costing and propose pricing structure including end prices to consumers such that these are based on realistic market conditions.
  • Develop, grow, manage and actively expand the business of the Brand portfolio that shall be assigned from time to time at the absolute discretion of the Company.
  • Prepare market reports on the Company’s product performance and actively monitor competitive activity.
  • Identify possibilities for sourcing and assessing potential of new products as appropriate with the purpose of significantly enhancing the Company’s interests.
  • Carefully plan and execute market strategies in order to achieve defined Business objectives for the Brands’ portfolio.
  • Develop, design and implement consumer marketing campaigns and liaise with various internal teams as required.
  • Identify opportunities and create strategies which address such opportunities through specific activities within the market.
  • Negotiate with customers on implementing opportunities for enhancing the brands’ presence within the outlet.
  • Work with market specialists to develop and implement in-store promotions and merchandising requirements.
  • Mentor, motivate and work with the relevant sales teams.
  • Take an active part and supervise any activities that may be planned as part of the Employee’s brand portfolio marketing campaigns (which could also include weekends).
  • Meticulously keep record and promptly highlight any budget variances should these rarely occur.
  • Maintain and update online communication, through social media channels.
  • Promptly respond to online enquiries that are relevant to the Business.
  • Help implement other marketing activities (even if external to the Employee’s portfolio).
