Brand Ambassador Maryland

About the role

NOVA Tastings LLC is a fast-growing beverage sampling company in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. We partner with leading brands to create engaging in-store tasting experiences. We are currently seeking energetic, outgoing, and reliable Brand Ambassadors to represent our brands at Kroger and ABC locations in Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Radford.

Responsibilities

• Congduct professional in-store beverage tastings
• Educate consumers about featured products, flavor profiles, and brand stories
• Create a welcoming and engaging experience for shoppers
• Encourage product trial and support retail sales
• Set up and break down tasting displays
• Submit event reports, photos, and required documentation following each event
• Represent NOVA Tastings and our supplier partners with professionalism

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with consumers
• Reliable transportation to and from events
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
• Smartphone with reliable internet access for reporting

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, marketing, promotions, or beverage sales is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, or ready-to-drink cocktails is preferred but not required

Benefits

• Paid per completed shift (must meet all event reporting and performance requirements)
• Variety of event types including grocery store and ABC events
• Flexible scheduling with most events on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Opportunities for additional shifts based on performance
• Work close to home whenever possible

Pay

• Single 2-hour shift: $60
• Back-to-back 2-hour shifts: $120
• 4-hour shift: $100

Schedule

• Most events take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Team members are expected to maintain current availability
