NOVA Tastings is revolutionizing off-premise sampling. Born during the challenges of COVID-19, we've quickly grown into the largest local off-premise sampling company in VA, DC, and Western MD—executing several events every week and still expanding!

Responsibilities

• Conduct 2-5 hour tastings at various locations such as Grocery Stores, Total Wine, and ABC Stores.
• Engage with consumers in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Educate consumers about our products, including the history, flavor profiles, and production process.
• Drive sales by promoting our brands and encouraging consumers to make a purchase.
• Collect and report feedback from consumers to improve future tastings and marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Sales Experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and passion for wine, beer, and cocktails
• Must have reliable transportation

Shifts

• Shifts are primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Minimum of 8 shifts required

Qualifications

• Beginner: Little to no knowledge beyond personal consumption.
• Basic: Familiar with common beer and wine styles and can discuss basic flavor profiles.
• Intermediate: Can describe differences between major varietals, beer styles, and production methods.
• Advanced: Comfortable educating consumers on regions, styles, tasting notes, food pairings, and production techniques.
• Expert: Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
