Brand Ambassador
About the Role
Join GEHA as a Part-Time Brand Ambassador and help federal employees and retirees better understand their health and dental insurance options. This is a part-time independent contractor role that is remote-first but involves attending in-person events. You’ll represent GEHA at local health fairs and wellness events, educating members about our plans while building relationships in your community.
Responsibilities
- Represent GEHA at local health fairs and wellness events.
- Educate federal employees and retirees about GEHA’s medical and dental plans.
- Serve as a go-to resource in your community for health benefits information.
- Share educational materials, answer questions, and simplify health benefits for members.
- Travel locally (expenses reimbursed and time paid).
Requirements
- Friendly and approachable with a natural ability to connect with people.
- Confident presenting in both casual and formal settings.
- Curious and willing to learn about health insurance and GEHA’s offerings.
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable using basic tech tools (email, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce).
- Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and pass background clearance to enter federal facilities.
- Reliable high-speed internet (non-cellular, minimum 30x5 Mbps, latency <80 ms) and a private workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
- Dedicated workspace free from interruptions.
Pay
The target hiring rate for this position is $28.00 per hour.
