Brand Ambassador

2020 Companies is hiring full-time Brand Ambassadors to represent a nationally recognized premium tobacco brand at retail locations throughout your territory. This highly interactive role involves engaging adult consumers through one-on-one conversations, introducing brand offerings, gathering feedback, and distributing promotional offers.

About the role

Every shift is an opportunity to create memorable brand experiences while building your communication and customer engagement skills. Daily travel within the territory is required. Must be at least 21 years of age, have reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in meaningful, compliant conversations about tobacco products
• Verify age eligibility and ensure all interactions comply with company policies, local regulations, and program guidelines
• Administer consumer surveys and accurately collect market feedback and insights
• Distribute approved promotional materials and consumer offers, including coupons and incentives
• Educate consumers on available promotions
• Encourage purchase consideration through consultative consumer engagement
• Build positive relationships with retail personnel and store management
• Accurately document activity results, consumer interactions, and survey completion through designated reporting systems
• Maintain all program materials, displays, and activation assets in a professional manner
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support scheduled retail visits and events

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in brand ambassador, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, event marketing, or promotional marketing roles preferred
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable approaching and engaging consumers in a retail environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to utilize mobile applications and reporting tools
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain active throughout scheduled events
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

Work Environment

This position requires regular travel throughout an assigned territory and frequent work within convenience store and retail environments. Brand Ambassadors typically spend approximately four hours per retail activation interacting directly with adult consumers, collecting feedback, and promoting brand awareness and product consideration.

$25 per hour
