Brand Advocate Position in Springfield, Illinois

Retail/Sales role based in Springfield, Illinois. Reports to the Store Manager.

About the role

Perform customer conversion sales at the Cellairis walk-by entry doors. You will entice each walk-by customer with free products to encourage them to visit our store and commit to a purchase. Using AIDA model (attention, interest, desire, action) based scripts, you will persuade customers to show their broken phone, receive a repair quote, or join our mailing list by offering free products. Customers must come to the Cellairis counter and agree to participation terms to receive their free goods or services.

Responsibilities

• Engage walk-by customers using provided scripts to drive them into the store.
• Convert customer interactions into sales opportunities through persuasive communication.
• Encourage customers to show broken phones, receive repair quotes, or join the mailing list.
• Ensure customers understand participation terms to receive free products or services.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, highly energetic, and approachable.
• Genuine customer service skills and ability to develop relationships with clients.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs.
• Own reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
• Professional appearance.
• Candidates must have their own (not public) means of transportation and a manageable commute.

Qualifications

• Retail experience recommended but not required: 1-3 years in a retail sales environment.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Sampling selling experience is a plus.
