About the role

Roku is seeking an experienced Brand Activation Manager with a passion for project management and partnership with sales to join our dynamic Ad Sales Client Services team. You will leverage a deep understanding of Ad Sales and Account Management to drive process, support sales teams, and improve client outputs for our Sponsorship offerings. This role includes leading team-wide initiatives, standard operating procedures, and ensuring the team supports business development to meet revenue goals.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts and frequently interface with Sales, AdOps, Product, Client Services, and Roku Brand Studio. The Brand Activation Manager will also manage campaign escalations, especially for priority accounts. Success requires strong project management experience, a client-first approach, and the ability to build strong internal relationships.

This is a hybrid role based in New York, requiring in-office presence Monday–Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage top initiatives with client teams for sponsorships across Sales, Client Services, Marketing (Sales Dev), Design, UX, Ad Ops, and Content Teams to drive product improvement, standardization, and launch automation.
  • Lead kick-off calls for campaign execution across client and internal teams.
  • Implement and execute first-to-market executions throughout the sales cycle with a flexible and agile approach to problem-solving.
  • Develop vertical sponsorship best practices to support Sales and Client Services in client requirements.
  • Contribute to improving the quality design of tools, standard operating procedures, and processes for clients and products.
  • Develop a keen understanding of how the Roku platform and unique ad products deliver brand value in support of clients' advertising goals.
  • Collaborate with Ad Sales AEs on new business sales presentations, QBRs, creative recommendations, and custom ideation, including leading upsell efforts.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on go-to-market (GTM) and new product rollouts for client teams.
  • Own end-to-end operations for the sponsorship process in Ad Sales.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for all Client Support groups, particularly Ad Operations, to drive efficiencies in internal processes from pitch to launch.
  • Manage feedback loops from clients, sales, and client services to Product and Product Marketing groups.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or client services at an ad tech company, or media planning at an agency.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while leveraging departmental resources, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and influential written and verbal communication skills; ability to quickly build relationships via telephone or email.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally and balancing priorities.
  • Positive and confident disposition when responding to frequent deadlines for multiple customers (internal and external).
  • Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency.
  • Analytical, project management, deadline-driven, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborative mentality; willingness to proactively work with coastal markets to gain insights and grow the marketplace.
  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with commercial digital ad-serving tools for video and display.

Pay

The estimated annual salary for this position in New York is between $115,000 and $120,000. Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, certifications, and geographical location.

Schedule
