Branch Wholesale Product Specialist

About the role

This position works closely with commercial paint customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. The Wholesale Product Specialist resolves customer concerns, ensures maximum client satisfaction, stays current with product features, and maintains high quality and visual standards. Excellent customer service and consistent achievement of store sales goals are expected. This full-time role is based at Store #2032, 1626 Parkway Plaza, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person and by phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Clean store equipment
• Assist in making deliveries as needed
• Remain knowledgeable about products and discuss available options
• Suggest ways to improve sales

Qualifications

• At least eighteen (18) years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
• Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
