Train new hires in their first several months to ensure they meet Medline's quality and productivity standards. Coordinate and schedule new hire training, motivate and retrain low-performing team members, and provide tools and feedback for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and Medline Core Values.
- Work with supervisors to maintain high productivity and suggest improvements.
- Conduct observations, offer feedback, and motivate team members.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment through retraining and safety awareness activities.
- Perform daily warehouse functions as directed, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Lead team members in shipping, replenishment, receiving, dock, and other areas.
- Communicate effectively with branch management regarding daily operations.
- Be flexible with scheduling to respond to training needs across shifts and departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current team member with at least 12 months in position preferred.
- Overall performance evaluation score of 3.0 or greater.
- No corrective action above a Coach Counsel within the last 6 months.
- Working knowledge of all warehouse areas and machinery preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Catalyst.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of lead experience.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Pay
$22.75 - $33.00 hourly, based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
