About the role

Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU), the largest credit union in the Central Valley, is seeking candidates with previous financial experience for a Floater position. This role involves traveling between branches in the North Valley (Fresno, Madera, Merced counties) and South Valley (Fresno, Kings, and Tulare counties). Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel beyond the designated home branch.

Responsibilities

  • Work at any branch location as needed
  • Engage directly with Credit Union members and potential members
  • Rotate between all areas of a branch as required
  • Support and promote a successful sales culture by identifying member needs and cross-selling appropriate Credit Union products
  • Accurately process transactions, including loan payments and fund transfers
  • Research and resolve member concerns
  • Sufficiently and accurately record information
  • Interview members to obtain information and explain available services to meet their financial needs

Requirements

  • Previous 2 years of banking experience or equivalent
  • A full understanding of required financial regulations
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Desire to provide exceptional member service
  • Thorough knowledge of negotiable instruments
  • Able to work in different environments with varying management styles
  • Able to travel to all branch locations
  • Dependable (arrive to work on time as scheduled)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Loan experience
  • Spanish-speaking ability
