Responsibilities
- Welcoming members and nonmembers with eye contact, a warm greeting, and a call to name.
- Ensuring members' needs are met and providing appreciative closing remarks.
- Managing the lobby area, including running the Front Desk when needed.
- Assisting members with various transactions such as courtesy signings, fraud prevention, account maintenance, notarization, etc.
- Listening to members' needs, identifying potential cross-sell opportunities, and referring to appropriate staff members.
- Staying updated on financial services and tools to assist members effectively.
- Performing teller transactions, maintaining cash drawer, and balancing within credit union guidelines.
- Completing any additional duties assigned by the Branch Management Team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a financial institution, retail sales, or customer service position involving cash handling.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience operating systems.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to give exceptional member service.
- Effective teamwork and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- The ability to be self-directed and work under limited supervision.
