As a Branch Relationship Banker (Personal Banker) at our West Los Angeles, CA branch, you will deliver top-notch customer service, provide personalized financial solutions, and bring full-service banking to life in the community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, full-service banking experience to new and existing clients, focusing on relationship-building, sales, and personalized service.
- Plan and host engaging events and community outreach activities to strengthen local relationships.
- Open new accounts, support consumer lending needs, and proactively assist clients with a variety of financial services and solutions.
- Act as a trusted problem-solver by addressing client concerns or connecting them with the right internal partners for additional support.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by recommending relevant bank products and services, including commercial offerings.
- Build lasting connections through active follow-up and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
- Process cash transactions, open and maintain accounts, and originate and close consumer or small business loans as needed.
- Support daily branch operations, including transaction processing and additional customer service responsibilities.
- May be reassigned to an alternate location within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) depending on business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2+ years’ experience in sales, teller, new accounts, loan processing, or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Previous experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role preferred.
- Working knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
- Solid knowledge of all retail products and services.
- Basic knowledge of consumer lending applications.
- Proven customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills.
- Solid mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Professional working proficiency in Japanese highly preferred.

Pay
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $23 - $29 hourly, depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday.
