About the role
The Branch Real Estate team exists to evolve the firm’s real estate strategy to meet current and future client expectations and branch team needs. Branch Real Estate works in partnership with Financial Advisors and key home office stakeholders to support the firm’s branch real estate initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing and responding to more complex incoming real estate requests (US and Canada) from Financial Advisors, Regional Leaders, Market Leaders and numerous home office departments.
- Partner with Market Leaders, Regional Leaders, and Branch Teams. Build, maintain relationships, and work in partnership with workflow business areas such as Market Management, Branch and Region Development, Client and Practice Transition, FA Compensation, Compensation and Expense Services, Network Field Services, Business Continuity, Global Security and Branch Real Estate Leadership.
- Handle complex branch real estate escalation issues. Assist, support and guide Branch Real Estate Consultant IIs with more difficult and complex situations, and provide indirect supervision of department’s contract associates.
- Document real estate issues, identify opportunities and work with departments across the firm to resolve issues or implement new ideas.
- Understand and effectively communicate firm real estate policies, guidelines, tradeoffs, and P&L impacts.
- Provide oversight reviews of Branch Real Estate workflow processes to ensure accuracy, client service excellence and project completion.
- Identify opportunities to create efficiencies for Branch Real Estate by participating in projects, leading and implementing department initiatives.
- Represent the department and act as a liaison with other business areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent related work experience)
- Organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Associate must be able to apply a general understanding of Associate Relations policies, business continuity planning for catastrophic events within regions and impacts to an FA’s P&L statement
- Able to balance Compliance, Legal and Associate Relations business decisions
- Able to temporarily serve as leader in leader’s absence
- Able to lead projects and lead implementation of new initiatives
What sets you apart
- Leadership and project management experience
- Understanding of Edward Jones FA performance expectations, and ability to analyze an FA's tenure, Practice Management Level and level of business
- Ability to apply general knowledge of broad corporate principles and practices including Finance, Associate Relations, IS, Marketing, Branch Real Estate, etc.

- Must be able to live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations
