About the role

Responsibilities
- Read and accurately identify the customer’s needs per the Work Instruction Document
- Take necessary measurements and mark garments for alterations, with the ability to problem-solve individual sizing issues
- Operate a heat press safely and efficiently
- Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency, to include taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, applying striping, and applying patches
- Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in Alterations preferred
- Ability to effectively read/receive work instructions in English
- Extremely detail-oriented and quality-focused – you’re not happy with mistakes
- Solid communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stretch, twist, and lift, with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications

Pay
- Daily Pay: up to 50% of your pay
