Branch Operations Intern

Overview & Responsibilities

Republic Finance is seeking Branch Operations Interns to learn the daily functions and operations of a branch while gaining exposure to the broader organization and career opportunities. Interns will work onsite and interact with team members and leaders to experience sales and customer service, compliance training, loan closing, leadership training, and continuous‑improvement projects across departments.

• Become licensed and complete an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program covering loan processes and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation, document preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand responsibilities at higher levels and the promotional path within Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and workshops (as available) to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division.
• Participate in one or more Branch Operations process‑improvement projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where branch experience is valued, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior in college majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background, credit history, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products (subject to state background check).

Pay

$15.00 per hour. The program aims to offer full‑time employment upon successful completion and graduation.
