Responsibilities

• Hire and nurture a dynamic team to drive branch success and foster a vibrant environment for both customers and staff.
• Build strong relationships with local businesses and residents to help them achieve their financial goals.
• Craft and implement plans to boost productivity and sales performance, partnering closely with your Business Banking partner to identify and cultivate new customer relationships.
• Travel to other branch locations to share expertise and support your colleagues.
• Lead by example, ensuring that both you and your team meet or exceed branch goals.
• Foster a culture of respect and empowerment, conducting regular meetings to keep your team engaged and informed, and providing ongoing training and support to help them grow.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Branch/Retail Banking experience as a Relationship Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Banking and commercial business processes.
• Proven sales and outside calling skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Strong initiative, judgment, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and core operating systems.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Benefits

Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels. The anticipated salary range for the position is $62,000 to $92,000. In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

The usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
