About the role
The Branch Manager at Premier America Credit Union is responsible for leading and driving new business, ensuring an excellent and consistent member experience, and maintaining sound branch operations. This position is a designated Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) and requires full compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing (SAFE) Act.
Leadership

- Educate and motivate the Branch staff to achieve branch objectives and goals.

- Guide and motivate the Branch staff to promote a culture focused on protecting members' assets while delivering best-in-class service.
- Develop knowledge and processes to improve the member experience and team member engagement.
What You Will Do
- Manage the Oak Forest branch, focusing on developing, coaching, and leading the branch team to meet key performance indicators including member satisfaction, efficiency, and staffing retention and utilization.
- Seek out opportunities to drive operational improvement and productivity, and close performance gaps while meeting established goals.
- Establish and maintain effective and professional business relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and prepare data to measure and report performance.
Requirements
- Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- One to three years supervisory/management experience.
- Advanced sales and lending experience, including existing deposit(s) (savings, money market, checking, certificate of deposits); loan(s) (business, consumer, mortgage); and ancillary loan product(s) (guaranteed asset protection, mechanical breakdown, and debt cancellation).
- Demonstrated track record of success meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals.
- Outstanding member focus and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly and network for new business opportunities.
- Working knowledge of Episys/Symitar Core System, a plus.
- Cash handling experience.
- A high school degree or equivalent.
- A significant level of trust, credibility, and diplomacy is required.
- Strong "People" skills, comfortable multi-tasking, and capable in a relationship-focused sales environment.
