Branch Manager - Electrical/ Industrial

As a Branch Manager, you will develop and implement business plans that allow the Company to achieve its financial and service goals. You will manage all resources to achieve desired results within the branch.

Design and implement programs

• Maximize net profit and return on sales
• Improve existing programs to support financial performance metrics
• Maintain customer service levels
• Promote the sale of obsolete and overstocked material
• Manage a large number of employees
• Monitor activities for compliance with regulations and policies
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers
• Monitor competitive conditions
• Implement strategic plans for long-term market share and profitability growth

What You Bring To The Table

• Minimum 5 years experience in sales, operations, or finance
• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry and supply chain management principles
• Understanding of the impact of pricing decisions on profit and loss
• Knowledge of various suppliers and their respective product lines
• Business planning and market analysis skills
• SAP and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
• Leadership skills and the ability to effectively supervise staff
• The ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
• The ability to think strategically about business needs
• The ability to recruit for key positions
• The ability to mediate customer complaints/disputes
• The ability to operate at both a tactical and strategic level
• The ability to motivate and influence others
• Organizational and time management skills

Compensation Details

• The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $100,000 annually, depending on experience.
• This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
