Requirements
- Top Performers with Present or Previous GILA Branch Management experience or Lengthy GILA Assistant Management or Customer Service Experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Summary
The Branch Manager is accountable for ensuring the day-to-day activities of the branch are effectively and consistently carried out per company policy each day in a manner that results in all required objectives consistently being achieved. The manager maintains communication between the staff and upper management. Provides support, training, and guidance to the staff. The Branch Manager is responsible to ensure that minimum required monthly and annual branch profit standards, expectations and objectives are consistently achieved each month and year. The Branch Manager is responsible to ensure that minimum required operational standards are achieved by the 10th, 20th, and month end consistently achieved each month and year. The Branch Manager is responsible to ensure that minimum required tax preparation objectives are consistently achieved each tax season.
Reporting Relationships
The Manager position oversees 1 to 4 employees within their location.
Additional Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Maintain efficiency by training employees continuously on company policy and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and best ethical practices.
- Motivate employees and create a high degree of branch production by meeting and exceeding company standards involving loans, collections, and expense control.
- Maintain consistent growth in accounts and receivables through retention of customers and effective advertisement.
- Prepare special reports as needed.
- Create and maintain a successful and profitable branch by controlling assets, proper credit extension, collection routine, thorough follow-up, and handling of past-due customers.
- Ensure all personnel are at work on time and manage their time throughout the day by effectively coaching your staff.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reports and records.
- Receive and acknowledge all correspondence from the home office requiring an answer the day it is received.
- Train all employees on how to properly perform all functions of a loan office, to include: taking and processing an application, working the counter and taking payments, enforcing contracts with customers, making collection calls, and closing loans.
- Approve and close all new, FB, and dual loans.
- Approve and close all increases on loans of established accounts.
- Handle, approve, and close all delinquent loans (30 days or more past due).
- Ensure all delinquent work is completed each day by 2:00 pm and that all of the customers' records are filed in the proper fireproof cabinets at closing time.
- Maintain the office neat and orderly at all times.
- Handle all legal procedures taken against customers.
- Distribute Life, Accident and Health, Auto, and Fire Insurance claims to customers.
- Receive all claims from customers and file weekly with the insurance carrier.
- Maintain proper insurance claims records and reports on insurance claims register located in branch stat book.
- Direct all calls from attorneys, newspapers, reporters, etc. to the home office.
- Verify cash monthly by balancing cash drawers and maintaining cash count records.
- Exercise some ownership in judgment when making decisions affecting the branch and its personnel, control of assets, and credit decisions.
- Approve all supply requisitions.
- Handle all customer inquiries and disputes.
- Protect all customer information making certain all customer information is properly accounted for at all times and is stored securely each day before closing the office.
