Branch Manager
About the Role
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch. Your focus will be on leading team members, managing the branch P&L, driving new loan growth, managing the current loan portfolio, marketing, maintaining current business partnerships, and developing new strategic business partners. Responsibilities
- Manage and inspire team members to drive branch profitability
- Exercise independent judgment in decisions affecting employees and branch operations within company policy guidelines and District Supervisor oversight
- Serve as a subject matter expert on personal loan products to present solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals
- Ensure branch operations solvency through asset control, proper credit extension, and follow-up on past-due customers
- Build and maintain customer relationships by delivering exceptional service
- Assign duties to employees, review their work for accuracy, and train them to maintain efficiency
- Train and develop employees on branch operations, company policies, procedures, and consumer finance laws
- Work with Recruiting and District Supervisors to address branch staffing needs
- Cultivate new relationships with local retail businesses and maintain strong partnerships with current ones
- Oversee daily branch duties, including but not limited to:
- Approving and closing loans
- Developing resolution plans for past-due customers
- Delegating and following up on collection activities
- Processing insurance claims and maintaining records
- Handling collections via phone and mail
- Accepting and posting payments
- Processing and reviewing loan documentation
- Answering phones
- Completing month-end reporting
- Approving branch expenses, signing checks, and verifying cash
- Approving supply requisitions
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of management experience or completion of the required Management Trainee program
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage
- Must pass drug screen, criminal, and credit background checks
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of Consumer Finance experience
- College degree (a plus)

Schedule
This position typically works more than 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime required. The role is exempt from overtime pay under federal wage-hour law.
Working Conditions
This role works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone. Occasional driving in a personal vehicle is required.
