Branch Manager

About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Branch Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Branch business plan and operating budget, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the Branch business plan and operating budget, including operating, financial and sales targets
• Direct all aspects and daily operations of the facility to ensure safety, efficiency and profitability
• Review and analyze progress towards the achievement of sales forecasts and operational goals on a regular basis, and initiate action as needed
• Define level of service consistent with sales volume and profit margins
• Provide staff development and training of Branch employees
• Manage all aspects of physical resources including maintenance and repair, compliance with industry and Nutrien Ag Solutions’ regulations and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment at the Branch
• Manage retail audits
• Analyze capital requirements and provide recommendations regarding capital budget needs
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, division leadership and other appropriate industry personnel to promote Nutrien Ag Solutions’ products and services

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in agriculture and/or sales function
• 5+ years of people leadership experience

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; high school degree or equivalent required
• Experience with crops, pesticides, and fertilizers in the current market

Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $86,800 - $161,000 in Hallock, MN, and an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability coverage, and a retirement program with generous matching employer contributions. Pay

The estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn suggest does not represent Nutrien's compensation structure. The salary range for this role, in Hallock, MN location, is between $86,800 - $161,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
