Job Details Description The Branch Manager is responsible for oversight of all aspects of customer service for both inside, outside, and retail sales, and oversees all aspects of inventory control and warehouse operations in a friendly, fast-paced team environment. Primary Duties Hire and manage, coach, mentor, train, and support all direct reports, Territory Sales Managers, Inside Sales Associates, as well as oversee Parker Store and warehouse manager and staff.Manage all aspects of EBITDA performance to company requirements.Coordinate sales team to collaborate with all Technology Product Managers where needed.Manage margins and costs to achieve net profitability goals.Provide user support and solutions for our ERP system (Prophet 21)Report on business progress, identify needs and concerns to executive team and participate in executive meetings.Develop and implement programs to meet customer requirements.Assist in managing supplier relationships.Ensure that the highest level of customer service and ethics are followed.Train staff to provide customer support with technical product information and prepare thorough and accurate quotes, order acknowledgements, samples, and supporting sales literature.Generate and maintain accurate required documentation, including quotations.Address and resolve all customer requests and/or complaints utilizing a positive, creative approach.Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.Promote employee teamwork and motivation, including employee recognition.Encourage positive thinking approaches to problem solving.Conduct Annual performance reviews, maintain appropriate personnel records.Address and resolve personnel issues.Develop ideas that help MFCP improve customer service, systems, and procedures.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Champion implementation of MFCP programs and policies.Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and procedures.Adhere to strict Safety Guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.Experience or education in business administration is desired.Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required.Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.Solid computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plusMust be a good listener with above average reasoning ability and make minimal mistakes. Must be a good learner who can assimilate product knowledge and skills as they are presented.Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components preferred. Familiarity with industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings, especially Parker Hannifin a plusMaintain regular and punctual attendance.As MFCP is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative team environment, employees must be physically present in the office to perform his/her job functions.Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines. Physical Demands And Work Environment Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring, and climbing ladders as needed. Work environment may vary including warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements, office work, manufacturing, machine shops, agricultural operations, and any other specific business operations of current or potential customers.
