Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager is responsible for the profitability, safety, installations, and service of the branch while promoting teamwork among staff, subcontractors, builder customers, homeowner customers, and vendors. This role ensures all duties are performed with the highest level of customer service, professionalism, safety, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Division Field Operations Supervisor (DFOS), customer service, and warehouse teams, including daily oversight, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Foster strong collaboration between branch, hub, and sales teams.
• Manage working capital by overseeing inventory, conducting quarterly audits, and resolving A/R issues.
• Drive branch financial performance through labor management, capacity planning, and control of G&A expenses.
• Coordinate installation and service schedules to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Provide field support to DFOS and Service Technicians throughout the preview and post-view process.
• Manage branch cash handling, including issuing checks, deposits, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Handle retail walk-in sales of Hearth products, services, and accessories.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations-related, or construction-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
