About the role
Blaze is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of a full-service branch in Inver Grove Heights. This position oversees member service, product sales, lending, and branch compliance while developing and supervising staff to achieve retail sales goals. The Branch Manager acts as a community ambassador, enhancing the credit union’s visibility and upholding Blaze’s core values.
Responsibilities
- Coach and develop branch staff, fostering sales techniques and professional growth.
- Uphold Blaze’s values, mission, and goals as an example to staff.
- Communicate daily with management to ensure staff development, performance, and recognition.
- Back up new account and loan application processes as needed.
- Research and resolve member problems and questions, making necessary corrections.
- Oversee monthly branch audits and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Schedule staff, manage time off, and enforce policies and procedures.
- Pursue networking opportunities in the community to enhance Blaze’s visibility.
- Act as an ambassador for Blaze, mentoring staff to achieve goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
- 4 to 5 years of similar or related experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the financial industry, products, and market trends.
- Understanding of market competition and strategic business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and complex materials.
- Adaptability to change and growth in support of credit union goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing and implementing process improvements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Operate a computer and interact with staff and the public via phone.
- Travel to designated offices.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
Schedule
Weekly schedule includes Saturday hours.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $78,490.65 - $117,735.97 annually, based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations.
