About the role
The Branch Manager at Regions is responsible for leading a team dedicated to improving the financial wellness of customers. This role involves driving branch performance, managing sales, and providing guidance to associates.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of branch associates to impact new revenue generation through identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance.
- Conducts outside sales efforts to generate new business clients and maintain/expend existing consumer and business banking relationships.
- Trains and educates associates, customers, and the community on financial wellness, emerging technologies, and digital solutions.
- Coaches and develops branch associates using iConnect - the Region's Sales, Service, and Coaching process.
- Provides consistent and timely coaching and guidance to associates to strengthen their product knowledge and identify customer needs.
- Advises customers on Regions' Consumer and Business products and services, including loans and deposits, and assists with annuities and life insurance.
- Maintains a consistent optimal customer experience, including handling customer transactions and resolving escalated issues.
- Manages the recruiting and selection process for the branch.
- Maintains relationships with Line of Business partners and refers customers to internal experts when necessary.
- Ensures compliance with all bank policies, processes, procedures, and internal audit requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of Financial Services, sales, or sales management experience
- Expected to obtain an active Life Insurance License within the first twelve (12) months and maintain continuing education for licensing requirements
Preferences
- College degree
- Life Insurance License
- Supervisory experience within the Financial Services industry
- Six (6) years of banking and/or lending experience
- Six (6) years of relationship-based client consultation experience
