Branch Location Manager

Location: Storm Lake, IA (1326 Michigan St.)

About the role

Plumbing & Heating Wholesale is hiring a Location Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Storm Lake, IA branch. You will lead the team to grow sales, increase branch profitability, and provide exemplary service while fostering strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support inside and outside sales staff
• Supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staff to ensure smooth operations
• Identify and implement process improvements to gain efficiencies
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom and warehouse
• Promote teamwork and cooperation at all levels
• Hold weekly branch meetings to discuss and resolve issues
• Participate in weekly location manager meetings
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reporting
• Review sales reports and manage order/transfer queues
• Set yearly sales and operating budgets
• Hire, train, evaluate, and dismiss personnel as needed
• Maintain equipment and building in good working order

Requirements

• Previous management experience
• Experience in the Plumbing or HVAC fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
