Branch Leader - Baldwin Park
About the role
The branch leader manages all aspects of an assigned branch. Responsibilities include driving branch performance through leading, coaching, and managing; business development; ensuring compliance with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies; managing human capital including interviewing, selection, hiring, conducting performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and workforce management scheduling; and assisting with teller transactions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Drive branch performance through leading, coaching, and managing
- Lead business development to deliver strong team and individual performance
- Develop small business expertise and grow Mass Affluent through face-to-face appointments and outbound calling
- Participate in community events to build the Truist brand
- Partner with IRM and Operations partners to ensure compliance and foster a One Team culture
- Make human capital decisions including interviewing, selection, hiring, workforce scheduling, and performance reviews
Requirements
Small business expertise and development are critical to Truist's purpose of inspiring and building better lives and communities. The ideal candidate must have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
- Four years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience
- Two years of previous branch leadership or management experience
- Strong interpersonal, sales relationship, and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS background check
- Ability to inspire, lead, and coach others
