Branch Coordinator - Floorcovering Field Technician

About the role

This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #7385, located at: 3841 Paris St Unit B, Denver, CO, 80239-3380.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store, servicing wholesale customers.
• Aid the Branch Manager in developing and implementing floorcovering installation plans to assist in meeting the store’s budgeted sales and profit goals.
• Aid Sherwin-Williams sales representatives in field measurements including cut sheets, seam diagrams, and product specifications.
• Accurately measure and cut customer orders.
• Perform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle installer transactions properly through the store computer operating system and maintain proper records.
• Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
• Previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
• Previous work experience installing floorcovering.
• The Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.

Pay

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and will impact where actual compensation may fall within the stated wage range. The wage range listed for this role takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
