About the role

Provides a best-in-class experience by resolving concerns and offering various product details to meet the financial needs of clients. Focuses on client management, retention, and introductions to key bank partners (Mortgage, Business Banking) to ensure clients have access to experts who can help them achieve their financial goals. This position involves greater lending and basic investment interactions, participating in more complex banking conversations with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance (outstanding deposits, outstanding loans, non-interest income) and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
  • Client Experience: Provide a positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints. Resolve issues through research and communication in a timely and effective manner. Deliver client engagement and education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including NextGen and marketing campaign lead calling, weekly appointments set, weekly appointments completed, and needs met.
  • Risk Management: Execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly. Strive for no controllable losses.
  • Perform moderately complex special projects and additional duties as required.
  • Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job. Complete required compliance trainings.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate ability to attain sales and referral goals through preset appointments and quality conversations leading to recommendations that support clients’ financial goals and objectives, leveraging phone and in-person appointments.
  • Engage in discovery-based conversations and provide customized financial advice by referring to Financial Consultants.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma, GED, HiSET, TASC, or foreign equivalent.
  • Experience: 4–5 years of customer service and sales experience, including in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to train and mentor others, including products and platform procedures.
  • Licenses (required within the first 90 days in role):
    • Life and Health Insurance Licenses (failure to pass or attempt will result in removal from the program).
    • FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) (required within 90 days of passing the Life and Health Insurance exam).
    • FINRA License Series 6 (required within 90 days of passing the Security Industry Essentials exam).
    • FINRA License Series 63 or Series 66 (required within 90 days of passing the Series 6 exam).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.

Pay

Pay Range: $18.34 - $27.68 per hour
