Branch Banking - Client Consultant I
About the Role
The Branch Banking Client Consultant I delivers front-line client service and transactional support by welcoming clients, identifying their needs, and performing teller functions and financial transactions in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner to support their financial goals. This role contributes to branch success by maintaining operational accuracy and risk standards, while also supporting sales performance through introductions, client education, and collaboration with branch teammates. The role exists to create a positive and trusted branch experience where clients feel supported, informed, and connected to the right financial solutions while their everyday banking needs are handled accurately and efficiently. It also supports branch growth and service goals by balancing teller transaction execution, client engagement, timely problem resolution, and adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance (all Teller related functions) and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
- Client Experience: Provide a positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints, and through research and communication resolve them in a timely and effective manner. Deliver client engagement and education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including introductions.
- Risk Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions, striving for no controllable preventable losses. Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
- Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job and complete required compliance trainings.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma, GED, HiSET, TASC, or foreign equivalent.
- Experience: Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.

- Experience in the Financial Services Industry.

Pay
Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.55 per hour.
