Brake and Tire Technician
About the Role
We’re looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you’ll perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires and performing technician services such as routine inspections and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Basic mechanical repair for brake pads, calipers, and rotors
- Tire installations
- Wheel alignments
- Light maintenance or repairs
- Routine inspections and maintenance
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools — must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
- Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but is not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Pay
Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 hourly (based on level of experience). Starting pay for this position is $22/hr.
Schedule
We are staffing for our 1st shift at this location. Please keep in mind that all locations are subject to mandatory overtime based on business need.
First shift: Mon–Fri 6am–3pm
